What certifications do the staff have - CPR/First Aid?

Your child's safety is paramount to us. That's why all staff members at our Tot-Time locations are trained in CPR, first aid, fire safety and Emergency Preparedness annually. Tot-Time also obtains both criminal and child abuse clearances on all employees.

Do you have computers?

In addition to individual and group activities, games, and arts and crafts, your child may have the opportunity to engage in educational programs on one of the classroom computers.

Do you offer any special services?

Our centers are open 6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and provide care for children ages six-weeks through five-years with kindergarten and before and after school programs available at select locations. Please contact the center near you directly to learn what programs and services are offered.

Are there special activities for Children?

Periodically, children in the Pre-School and Kindergarten programs will have the opportunity to participate in field trips or special on-site learning experiences that further their educational experiences.

Can I periodically change my schedule?

Our goal is to build lasting relationships with the parents of our students. This means communicating with parents regularly regarding their child's progress and remaining flexible should work or personal schedules change. If you need to adjust your child's arrival or departure time please let the director know as soon as possible to ensure proper staffing.

What papers do I need to provide for updating my immunization/exam?

Are you state licensed?

Every center is licensed by its respective state, with four of our Pennsylvania centers dual licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education as Private Academic Nursery Schools and Kindergartens. Several of our Pennsylvania centers also have a Keystone Star rating for exceeding the Department of Public Welfare health and safety requirements.

What are the qualifications/certifications for the teachers?

All centers are in full compliance with Pennsylvania licensing standards for childcare centers. This means that in every classroom there is at least one qualified teacher trained in early childhood education or a related field such as child development. Additionally, all centers comply with the state regulations that require proper teacher to child ratio. Please feel free to ask about the educational background and experience of the staff at your local center.

What is the payment schedule?

An escrow deposit equal to one week's tuition is required at registration. Tuition is due every Monday thereafter. You may choose to pay bi-weekly or monthly. Please see your director to make arrangements.

What do I need to bring/provide?

Infants:

  • Feeding schedule
  • Formula or breast milk
  • Baby food/cereal
  • Diapers (disposable only) and wipes
  • Several bibs
  • Two complete changes of clothing (seasonally appropriate) in a labeled bag
  • Two crib sheets
  • All linens must be taken home weekly for laundering and brought back on Monday

Note: All belongings must be labeled with baby's name or initials

Pre-School and Kindergarten:

  • Disposable diapers and wipes (until potty trained)
  • A complete change of clothes (seasonally appropriate) in a labeled bag
  • An old, clean adult size t-shirt to be used as a paint smock
  • The "Kid-Napper" sleeping blanket
  • Two snacks ( AM and PM) and a lunch
  • All linens must be taken home weekly for laundering and brought back on Monday
  • Nutrition plays an important part in your child's development. Please pack fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, cheese and whole grain breads for your child.

Note: All belongings must be labeled with child's name or initials
